Fire fighters and EMR and are certified to the level of Emergency Medical
Responder and all structural fire fighters are certified to at least
the NFPA-1403 standard.
Members are also to attend weekly Fire training
every Thursday evening starting at 7:00 P.M.
other opportunities for members to participate include involvement in
as activities geared towards the public
(e.g. Annual Pork BBQ and Chicken Feed, Old Haunted School House, etc.)
We understand that everyone's schedules are different and balancing work,
family and your commitment as a member is one of the challenges
you will encounter. We will work with you to develop a timeline to meet
the requirements of being a member.
The Department is open to men and women who live or work within the fire

a timely manner. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and hold
