BVFD Retired Apparatus:
From left to right this is a 1956 Ford assembled by La France this was our front line Pumper with a 500 G.P.M. pump and tank capacity of 500 Gallons was put in to service in 1956. Our tanker was a 1951 Autocar with a 3000 Gallon tank and could pump 500 G.P.M. was put in to service in 1960. Our back-up Tanker was a 1958 GMC with a ??? G.P.M. pump it had a 1100 gallon tank was put in to service in 1960 and was used for woods fires and hauling water and retired in 1978. This was our First equipment van.
Our 2nd equipment van was a 1966 Chev put in to service in 1966 it was later used as our first responder van.
This is a 1969 Mack fire truck from New York converted into a tanker and retired in 1998.
This is a 1984 Ford this was put in to service as SQ 28 used as our first responder truck and was retired in 2006.
